Yes, they are! Real flowers and butterflies are carefully preserved and hand-selected for each piece of jewellery. No two are the same, making each piece unique and one of a kind just as nature intended!

Botanicals
All flowers and foliage come from our own garden or collected from the wild. We are very mindful about the footprint we leave and only pick sustainably in small amounts so there is always plenty left for nature’s critters (especially the bees!)

Butterflies
We have deep respect for these incredible creatures! Monarch Butterflies and tropical butterfly wings are ethically and sustainably sourced from breeders and sanctuaries that help protect and grow butterfly populations. Butterflies are only collected once they’ve finished their life cycle, so you can be happy knowing whilst you are wearing them that no butterfly has been harmed.
As the butterflies have lived their full lives, some of their wings may show natural wear and slight damage. We view these as unique qualities, not imperfections, as they tell the story of a well lived life.

Our ceramic charms are handmade and hand-painted by Brier. The charms are sculpted from clay and then fired with a local kiln, glazed, and fired again.

In addition to our flowers and butterflies, we incorporate an array of elements including seashells, gemstones, pearls, dried fruits, glitters, metals and vintage treasures to name a few!

All earring and necklace chain findings are hypoallergenic and nickel free, which is good for most sensitive ears and skin. Most of our jewellery containing brass elements does not sit directly on skin, except for some charms on necklaces and handmade studs.

Resin jewellery is very light weight, including the larger earrings. We use jewellery grade resin to preserve our organic materials that has a UV stabiliser to offer extra protection from the sun, but discolouration may happen overtime.

We embrace the unique character of each piece and aim to be consistent as possible with the product photos, but they may differ slightly. Due to the nature of the materials we work with, no two botanicals, butterflies or hand-painted charms will be exactly the same.
